so i went to one of those baby one month banquets that the chinese love to have. another good chance to pig out and see friends. (I told them at work that I refused to work this weekend...seems stupid that I need to keep saying this to them.) but anyways, a few people told me that they read my blog and that its pretty funny. i never really thought so but maybe its funny in that seinfeld-esque kinda way where nothing really happens...cuz my life is pretty boring.
funny that i think my life is boring and i keep writing about it but even funnier that other people must be equally as boring cuz they are reading bout me. but as the old chinese curse goes..."may you live in interesting times".
so "BOOO" to you olympics, looming iraqi war, rhode island fires, and crazy north koreans....and "hello!" stale nachos (without salsa cuz i finished it already), house hunting, joe millionaire, and sun running. i embrace my mediocrity!
in other news...i did my running today with the slower group in the clinic and really enjoyed the pace much better. we did the hills last and didn't go as far...and the best part was at the end where i got to do some sprints and felt really fast. at least compared to the other people in my group who were dying. you know how you see those dogs at the park running around with their ears flapping in the wind. it was that cool. i wish i could catch a frisbee in my mouth.
but i had an epiphany...i think the running is like me at work. I would really enjoy more time to slow the pace down and see the scenery but I also really love the fast pace and wind in my big doggy ears. but after a block of fast sprints, I was ready to stop. you can only do sprints for so long.
